Thompson Painting collects very little, and only what it takes to get back to you about a quote. This page says exactly what that is.
What we collect
When you use the “Request a quote” form on this site, we collect the information you type in: your name, phone number, city, and whatever you write about the job. If you call or email Dave directly, we have whatever you share in that call or email — nothing more.
We do not ask for payment information, and there is nothing to log in to on this site.
How we use it
Your submission is used for one thing: so Dave Thompson can get back to you about a painting quote. It is not sold, rented, or used for anything else.
Who sees it
The quote form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party service that forwards your submission straight to Dave’s email inbox. Thompson Painting does not keep a separate database of leads — your message becomes an email, the same as if you’d written it yourself. FormSubmit has its own privacy policy covering how it handles the form data in transit.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. We are not watching what pages you visit or building a profile of you. The only outside requests this page makes are to load web fonts and the animation library it uses (see below) — neither one collects personal information.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests them from Google’s servers, which sees the request the way any web request does (e.g. your IP address). Google’s own privacy policy covers this.
- GSAP (cdnjs/Cloudflare) — a script library that powers the site’s scroll animations. It runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit any of your information.
- FormSubmit — as described above, delivers quote-form submissions to Dave’s email.
Your rights
You can ask what information we have from you, ask us to delete it, or ask any question about this policy, by emailing dnthompson63@hotmail.com or calling 778-871-2747. Since the only record is the email your quote request created, deleting that email deletes the record.
Children’s privacy
This site is a business site for a painting contractor and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it.
